Support my challenge to help Australian kids in need

The Reason:
After volunteering with the Smith Family’s learning clubs for 3 years, I strongly believe the work they do is incredibly impactful and important.
Education is an incredibly important tool and is widely recognised as one of the most effective long-term tools for breaking generational cycles of poverty. 1 in 6 Australian children are living in poverty and don’t have equal access to an education.
I have seen firsthand the impact that the Smith Family has, and hopefully together, we can support these kids so they can dream BIG and create a better future for themselves.
The Route:
While the challenge is designed to be stretched over a month, I decided to make it a little more difficult and limit it to 4 days (when the weather is decent).
The idea is to walk from Wollongong Harbour to Sydney Harbour over 4 days, taking the scenic route to make it 100 kms (almost). I will be carrying everything I need for those 4 days and camping each night at designated campsites.

My Updates
Day 3
Friday 12th Jun The sunrise was a disappointment, BUT the wildlife was not. I watched a pod of dolphins swim by and a seal surfed a wave right at the beach I was sitting at!
Day 2
Friday 12th Jun Today started with a leisurely stroll through the northern suburbs of Wollongong and along the sea cliff bridge. Then, finally it was away from the road and onto the bush tracks. I imparted some very sage advice on a reluctant 16 year old boy (he had his first overnight hike coming up) and his enthusiastic mother, before heading to Bald Hill beside a 'no walking' road (thanks, Alltrails). Starting the Royal Coast Track at 2:30, I arrived at Nth Era campground just before 5, cooling off with a dip in the ocean (with some incredibly large waves). No signal, so posting this a day later.
