Support my challenge to help Australian kids in need
In collaboration with my company TechnologyOne, I am taking part in The Dream Run this June to help financially disadvantaged school students in Australia.
According to The Smith Family, 1 in 6 Australian children meet the definition of living in poverty and don’t have equal access to a quality education. With this fundraiser, The Smith Family will be providing things like uniforms, books and learning support programs for such children.
As a commitment to this cause, for the month of June I aim to run 50km, which equates to about two 6km runs per week. I am recovering from an ankle injury, otherwise it would be even more ambitious :-)
