Join me in my third year of helping Australian kids in need
This June, I'm running 100km for The Smith Family. It's my third year taking on this challenge, and honestly, it means more to me now than when I first started.
Year one, I set a goal to walk 50km. Year two, I decided to push further and ran the full 100km. This year, I'm running 100km again. Not because it gets easier, but because the kids this challenge supports deserve that kind of commitment.
1 in 6 Australian children are living in poverty. That's not just a statistic. It's kids starting the school year without the right supplies. Kids falling behind because they don't have tutoring or support at home. Kids who, without help, might start to believe their circumstances define their future.
The Smith Family works hard to change that. Donations fund school essentials, learning programs, tutoring, and mentoring that give disadvantaged kids a real shot at their education and a chance to dream bigger.
I'll be tracking my runs throughout June right here on this page. If you'd like to follow along and cheer me on, I'd love that. And if you're in a position to donate, even a small amount makes a genuine difference to a real kid's life.
Thank you so much for being here. Your support means everything.

My Updates
Just completed 10km run last weekend for the Brisbane Marathon :)
Thursday 11th Jun
First up, a huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far. It genuinely means a lot and keeps me going when the legs start complaining.
Last week was a bit quieter on the running front because I was saving up for the big one: the 10km at the Brisbane Marathon event! And honestly? It was amazing. I'm really happy with how I went.
Being there on the day was something else entirely. Watching the half marathon and full marathon runners was honestly humbling. My 10km was tough enough, but those runners? The training, the dedication, the sheer grit it takes to push through 21 or 42 km. It was a good reminder that everyone out there is working hard to reach their own goal, and that's something worth celebrating.
The weather this week has not been kind at all. It's been raining basically every single day, which has slowed things down a little. But I'm sitting at 24km out of 100km and I'm planning to make up some solid ground over the next few days.
Rain or shine, we keep going. Thanks again for the support, it really does make a difference!
