I am taking part in The Dream Run to help Australian kids in need achieve their dreams.
1 in 6 Australian children are living in poverty and don’t have equal access to an education. Together, we need to support these kids so they can dream BIG and create a better future for themselves.
So I am taking on this challenge and raising funds for The Smith Family to help children in need make the most out of their education.

Day 7 - A bit of drama today!
Sunday 7th Jun Well, I've completed 26km but today I found out that I have blood clot (DVT) in my right calf - the result of a long flight 2 weeks ago. However, the doctors and nurses were great and I'm much better after receiving an anticoagulant injection! I'm now on blood thinners for a few months but should still complete the challenge by the end of June. Movement is good but big cuts will be bad!! Share
